• Not included in the above prices: Sales Tax, Framing, Shipping or Travel Expenses.
• Additional subjects on the same canvas are priced at a 20% discount.
• Pets included in portraits, or pet portraits will be individually quoted.
• Intricate clothing or very detailed background may be at additional cost.
• Portraits are traditionally sized between 75% - life size.
• Clients may be asked to sit for a color study, painted from life to capture true-to-life flesh tones and coloring. To avoid inconveniencing you (or your children!) with long posed sittings, these studies, along with photo references, are used as primary reference for the painting. Portraits can also be done from live sittings, if you prefer. Prices include photo session(s) to generate photographic reference. Terri prefers to take reference photos herself in order to ensure appropriate lighting, etc. necessary for a successful painting. If necessary, as with posthumous portraits, existing photos may be used (copyright and quality of images permitting).
• A 30% deposit is required at first photo session/sitting. Balance is due when painting is completed.
